Mark David Brickhouse is a Ph.D. Organic Chemist, now semi-retired after 40 years in specialty chemicals, corporate and military research, classified technical studies, contract management, strategic planning, geo-spatial technologies, event coordination and workshop-based research. He enjoyed a productive career with a diverse group of organizations, including W.R. Grace, the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC), Hercules Chemicals and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Brickhouse Consultancy, LLC supported efforts to grow the scale and eminence of geospatial research and training at Saint Louis University (SLU) from 2017-2020. Dr. Brickhouse served as the SLU Geospatial Advisory, supporting the establishment of a University-wide Geospatial Institute, that has since grown into Taylor Geospatial, https://taylorgeospatial.org. He also helped establish Geo-Resolution Conferences, joint productions of SLU and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

Mark was part of the team that managed COVID-19 contact tracing at Baylor, and he served as Project Manager on a research project at Baylor, studying the impact of the Emergency Meals to You Program on community nutrition and resilience. He is a member of Seventh and James Baptist Church, and is a Co-Founder with Blake Burleson of the Heart of Texas Network for Immigrant Rights. Mark is currently enjoying the good life with his wife Nancy in Lorena, TX, though his grown kids David and Elise are too far away, pursuing careers in art therapy and medicine.
